PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has expressed great grief over the damage to the Soan Valley, Chakwal and Talagang due to torrential rains.
In a statement Shehbaz said, federal and provincial governments and concerned departments must take emergent measures to rescue those stuck in flooded areas. He said prompt actions must be taken for the security and rescue of public life and property.
The PMLN President urged that all this should be done in a nonpartisan manner without any political biases.
Shehbaz directed the party office-bearers, members and workers to help those affected with utmost vigilance and devotion. They should apprise the authorities with public issues.
The PMLN President pledged unconditional support for all those hit by floods and said the party won’t ever leave them alone.
