Defence Day, A Commemoration Of Absolute National Unity – Shehbaz
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has said the National Defence Day is a commemoration of insurmountable unity of the nation against the enemy.
In his message to the nation on Defence Day, Shehbaz said this day is a message to all enemies of Pakistan that every step and every hand intended to harm Pakistan will be decapitated. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs, brave and unrelenting Pakistanis.
He said the invaluable sacrifices by the martyrs for the safety, security and defence of the motherland cannot ever be forgotten. He saluted the heroes of the September war who ripped the enemy’s evil plans to shreds.
Shehbaz said this day teaches us that if the nation remains united it can demolish any plan of the enemy. This day demands that Pakistan be made an economic powerhouse, developed and prosperous. He said making Pakistan financially and economically strong is part of making Pakistan’s defence unbreachable.
The National Assembly Opposition Leader said PMLN under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, strengthened Pakistan in every way including economically and militarily. He reminded how Nawaz shrugged off immense global pressures to announce Pakistan as a nuclear power in the world and built the country’s defence capacity. Which is why, by the grace of God Almighty, Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the entire Muslim World and no one can dare to think about harming Pakistan. Shehbaz pledged that PMLN will continue to strengthen Pakistan’s defence, economy and development even further.
The PMLN President paid rich tribute to the families of the martyrs for their great sacrifices for the country.
