PTI’s Support for India’s UNSC Election Is Murder of The Kashmiris, Pakistan’s Wishes – Shehbaz
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif while strongly condemneding India’s election to the United Nations Security Council has said that this inclusion has sent a negative, disappointing and depressing message to the oppressed and law-abiding people in Kashmir and across the world from the UN.
In a statement Shehbaz said it is a saddening moment that a consistent and gross violator of human rights charter of the UN and a a number of UNSC resolutions has been added to that very forum. This is a black bloch on the face of UN after India’s 5th August actions in Occupied Kashmir, he said.
“The PTI government has murdered the wishes and aspirations of the people of Pakistan and Kashmir by supporting India’s election to the UNSC. This is the doing of the friends of Narendra Modi Ruling Pakistan right now”, he said.
He said not working to prop up an alternative member from the region by Pakistan is akin to a total surrender at the diplomatic front. If the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister spent half of their time dedicated to bashing and conspiring against the opposition, to this cause, this diplomatic nightmare could have been avoided, he pointed out.
