PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb has said Imran Khan has been using and abusing the National Accountability Bureau to divert attention from his corruption, incompetence and failures through the most vicious political victimisation campaign for the past two and a half years.
But she said despite all power, records, abuse of government machinery, violation of law constitution and due process, Imran has failed to prove a single penny of corruption, misappropriation or embezzlement of public money on any of PMLN leaders. That is why this entire circus has been staged over and over again because it is based on nothing but fictitious claims and hold no truth in the courts.
She said the NAB-Niazi unholy alliance can only illegally arrest and abduct political rivals but have not ever been able to file a single reference against them. This government of clueless bullies and amateurs can only put political opponents behind bars to feed their petty vengeance.
This new wave of witch-hunt against Shehbaz Sharif is another diversion tactic by the corrupt, incompetent and unqualified government. The people of Pakistan and dying by the dozens by the surging coronavirus in the country Imran Khan failed to devise and implement any strategy to fight the pandemic. With all this going on, the government has all its resources focused against Shehbaz Sharif instead of the coronavirus.
Marriyum said, “The government has failed to provide any relief to the poor, daily-wagers and underprivileged and to hide this they are trying to arrest Shehbaz Sharif; the government has no answer over the sugar corruption and theft which is why it is trying to arrest Shehbaz Sharif; the corrupt government is putting together the worst anti-people budget which is why it is trying to arrest Shehbaz Sharif to silence the leader of the opposition, the true representative of the people; they have destroyed the country’s economy and made over four million people unemployed over the past 2.5 years”.
The former Information Minister said this government conspired against the state with questionable foreign funding through 23 secret accounts but nobody has been arrested; there is no one to arrest the culprits of Rs 120 billion she said.
Responding to statement by government Spokesperson Shibli Faraz, she said Imran Khan feels insecure from Shehbaz Sharif because the PMLN President was doing more for the pool during coronavirus pandemic than the so-called Prime Minister. Marriyum said the sugar thief Prime Minister should seriously start worrying about keeping his job now.
She said Imran is petrified of Shehbaz Sharif. The people see Shehbaz as the Prime Minister because Imran Khan is so incompetent and ineffective that the people don’t have any faith in him or his stooges.
Marriyum said the dozens of rented government mouthpieces and their ring leader Imran Khan should worry about their future because their time is up.
