PMLN Lauds Nawaz’s Vision Unifying, Uncompromising Leadership On Yaum-e-Takbeer

PMLN Yaum-e-Takbeer meeting while paying rich tribute to the leadership of Quaid Nawaz Sharif, Armed forces, scientists, engineers and all those who helped make Pakistan a nuclear power, has called for a revival of the same visionary leadership to steer the country clear from the crisis created by the reigning PTI government.

Speaking at the special meeting of the party Chaired by President Shehbaz Sharif and attended by top leaders, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said tremendous sacrifices were made not just by the political, military leadership but by those many who dedicated their lives and committed the lives of their families to this cause.
Abbasi said leading a country requires a ton of qualities, none of which are present in the current ruling party. He pointed out that the country’s economy was in tatters even before the coronavirus crisis. He said not only did the ineptitude of this government landed Pakistan into multiple crisis but is completely incapacitated to bring it out of them.

PMLN President Punjab Rana Sanaullah criticised the government for undermining and downplaying one of the most important days in Pakistan’s history only because of its envy for PMLN. He said this day is not exclusive to PMLN but is the day which is only second to the day of independence as it gave Pakistan unshakeable stability and none of its enemies can ever think about messing with an atomic power.

PMLN Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal lauded the leadership of Nawaz Sharif that made the uncompromising decision on Yaum-e-Takbeer. He said the two elements of true sovereignty are insurmountable defence and strong economy. He stressed that without a strong economy a country’s decisions can never be sovereign and under this incompetent government building a strong economy is impossible.

Former Federal Minister Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq said true leadership like that of Nawaz Sharif, looks beyond personal vengeance and political agenda and has the ability to unite the country to overcome national challenges. But, he said, the current government is consumed with political victimisation, vengeance and smear campaigns and lacks the ability and the vision to tackle the challenges faced by Pakistan.
