The PMLN said, “The passing of Sartaj Aziz brings immense sadness and sorrow to our hearts. He was not just a close and trusted companion to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif but remained dedicated to the party, leadership, and ideology throughout his life.
Shehbaz honored the late PMLN veteran saying, Sartaj Aziz was a true patriot, a sincere and honest Pakistani, and an extremely honorable individual. His entire life was dedicated to public service, and he was a person of great integrity within his own right.
He rendered exemplary services in the fields of finance and economy, contributing significantly to treasury and economic dimensions. His dedication and honesty were evident in various governance areas, including FATA reforms, economic policies, agricultural strategies, and water policies, Shehbaz said.
Sartaj Aziz’s contributions ushered the nation’s economy into new dimensions, providing stability and relief to the people. In the areas entrusted to him, he served the nation with sincerity and hard work.
Paying tribute to Sartaj Aziz, Shehbaz said he was an institution in himself, and his commitment to national service continued throughout his life. The responsible sectors that he handled witnessed national service driven by sincerity and hard work.
Sartaj Aziz devoted his entire life to the construction and development of Pakistan. His absence can never be compensated.
He prayed for the departed soul wishing that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience to the bereaved family. Amen.
