LAHORE: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb while congratulating the nation over Shehbaz Sharif’s bail has said that God Almighty has vindicated the PMLN President and buried PTI fake narrative of corruption forever.
Talking to media outside the court, Marriyum said that like every other fictitious allegation levelled against Shehbaz, this one too could not be proven and the government had to once again bite dust.
Marriyum said Shehbaz had set new standards of serving the people with devotion, diligence, transparency and a passion for the nation’s welfare, development and prosperity. She said the way he won over the people of Punjab and Pakistan in a way that other provinces quote Shehbaz Sharif as an example.
Marriyum said the people of Pakistan won’t allow such selective accountability anymore. They will not rest until same standards of accountability are applied to the sugar, flour, medicines, electricity, 3,and LNG thieves of PTI government, she added.
The former Information Minister said despite abuse of power, abuse of institutional jurisdiction the PTI government had failed to prove a single penny of corruption on Shehbaz Sharif.
