Marriyum Urges ECP To Act Against Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded immediate action from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against PM Imran Khan for misusing state resources.

In a statement Marriyum said violation of Election Commission order was a crime and there was no reason why Imran should not be punished. She urged the ECP to take action against Imran

She said Imran was making it clear with his actions and behavior that he did not respect the constitution of Pakistan or the law of the land. Attack on constitution, parliament, civil disobedience and burning electricity bills was a clear violation of ECP orders, she stressed. Imran Sahib should be punished under section S233 of Election Act 2017 she proposed.

The former Information Minister said on one side stood the entire nation, constitution, and law, while on the other side Imran was standing alone. She said Imran should have brought with him the record and receipts for the billions in illicit foreign funding, and money laundering through private employees in today’s speech, instead of threatening opposition and inciting mob violence. In his speech, he should have brought with him, the record of economic catastrophe, unemployment and record breaking inflation created by his disastrous rule. Imran should have explained in today’s speech why he failed to fulfill a single one of his promises including the ten million jobs and five million houses.

Marriyum said Imran had declared a war against the constitution, law and orders of the Election Commission.
