ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has lashed out at Imran Khan saying false allegations against political rivals, curbs on media and parliament do not lead to progress of nations.
Responding to Imran’s statement, Marriyum said Imran was handed to country when its economy was growing at record rate while inflation was at a historic low. This was why there was no need for a relief package then.
The former Information Minister said gagging the media and the opposition won’t do the country any good. She criticised one for throwing the nation into the ditch of inflation, unemployment and financial catastrophe, was throwing them a ‘thread’ of the so called releif package. Where were the 10 million jobs and 5 million homes for the poor, she questioned. The nation had figured out that Imran was a pathological liar, she added.
“Poor Imran lived in fear of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif for 3 and half years and was now living in fear of the non-confidence motion. What a miserable life “, she said.
No lies, no fake releif packages, no eyewash or lipservice could now save Imran from being ousted , she concluded.
