PMLN, PPP To Lauch Decisive Offence To Oust PTI Govt

LAHORE: PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has said that to rescue Pakistan and Pakistanis from the disastrous Imran-led rule, PMLN and PPP have decided to hammer the last nail in the coffin of the PTI government.

Addressing the media, flanked by Maryam Nawaz, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Saad Rafique, after his detailed meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Fomer President Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz said that every political party was entitled to its own manifesto, ideology and approach but the cause of saving Pakistan and Pakistanis from the catastrophic PTI government. He said if the opposition parties would not unke for this greater cause, the current and future generations would not forgive them at any cost. Shehbaz said the Imran government had piled on trillions in loans on the people of Pakistan with no foresight as to how would it be paid back. Not only had they virtually doubled the nation debt in 3 years, they do not have e a single brick worth of development to show for it, other than shamelessly putting up tgeir name plaques on the projects made by Nawaz Sharif’s PMLN government, he added.

He said this government had pushed tens of millions under the poverty line while snatching jobs and creating unprecedented unemployment . Imran had  made it impossible for hardworking Pakistanis to feed their families or pay for their Healthcare, he said. These people were now praying to God Almighty to rescue them from this apathetic and tyrannical rule. But,  he said despite all this obvious misery of the people of Pakistan, Imran had no answer because he was obsesswd with persecuting and politically victimising opponents. Had he spent even half of this time to solve people’s problems instead of wasting it in political witch-hunt, the situation in Pakistan may have not been this drastic, he said.

Shehbaz said its not just the National economy and governance where Imran and his government had proven to be a total failure, but he had also caused damage to Pakistan’s international image and foriegn policy objectives. While paying rich tribute to the brave people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in connection with February 5th, Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said Imran’s silence and inaction when India was illegally annexing Kashmir on August 5th 2019. He pointed out how the PTI government failed to convince OIC to hold a huddle on Kashmir and how the OIC meeting in Islamabad failed to talk about Kashmir while talking at length about Palestine. Meanwhile the PTI government put National Action Plan in cold storage which was why terrorism was on the rise once again in the country.

The National Assembly Opposition Leader said that all these and other issues and challenges staring Pakistan were discussed at length with the PPP leadership and the two parties agreed that it was absolutely essential for them to work together for Pakistan and its interests.
