ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Imran’s public address was actually a desperate plea for an extension of his disastrous rule.
Responding to Imran’s speech, she said it was an emotional outburst of an incomplete and hopeless person who had been caught red handed with corruption and had already lost. She told Imran that the time to worry and panic had passed and it was now time for him to pack his bags and head out of the Prime Minister House. No matter how much he may whine, scream, or create ruckus, noting could now change the fact that Imran’s time in office was over, she said.
Marriyum said Imran had no choice but to talk about Shehbaz because he knew he was merely serving notice period of his job. Had Imran done anything of substance or value over the past 4 years of his government, Imran wouldn’t have had to pusue an agenda of political victimisation and propagation of false accusations and lies about Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. Imran was so afraid of Shehbaz Sharif that he cannot help mentioning him no matter if he speaks for 1 minute or 1 hour, she said. But that too had run its course now and even accusing Shehbaz wouldn’t help Imran anymore, because it’s time for him to go, she stressed.
