ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has lashed out at Imran Khan for forcing NAB and FIA to lie in court against Shehbaz Sharif.
In a statement, Marriyum said these were the same fake cases that Imran had tried forcing former DG FIA to pursue. It was Imran’s vengeance against Shehbaz that had cooked up all these cases and had kept them alive to feed his political victimisation and keep his dead politics alive. She said despite abuse of power, weaponising of government institutions, he could not prove a single penny of corruption in any of these cases against Shehbaz and gave shameful embarrassment in courts in every single one of these cases, she said. Ad a matter of principle these cars should be trashed after being dismissed by the High Court.
The former Information Minister said the case under which Shehbaz was being dragged had already been investigated and Shehbaz had submitted an the answers. Shehbaz actually gave people releirf at the cost of causing his family financial losses, she pointed out.
NAB and FIA were over exuberant over these already settled and decided cases but we’re blind to the sugar, wheat, flour, medicines, electricity, gas, LNG, Ring Road and other major corruption scandals.
