ISLAMABAD: PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif says government’s cosmetic exhibition meetings won’t solve the inflation and unemployment crisis created by PTI.
In a statement Shehbaz said the theft, corruption and consistently disastrous policies have destroyed the national economy and put millions out of job. Such a raging crisis could only be resolved through concrete steps which the current administration was incapacitated to take.
“This government had more than doubled the price of sugar from Rs 52 to Rs 110 and flour from Rs 35 to Rs 75. The masses were screaming in agony and anguish over the exponential rise in the price of eggs, meat, chicken, lentils, cooking oil, essentials commodities and other eatables. This practice of draining the public to their last drop of blood is the most inhuman cruelty imaginable”, he said.
Shehbaz said the people of Pakistan were praying now to be rescued from the treachery and cruelty of this government. The lack of any economic foresight, strategy, or policy by PTI government had given birth this inflation and unemployment crisis, he said.
