History Will Remember Imran As Despotic Dictator, Musharraf of 2021- Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that by banning media from joint Parliament session and desperate media gagging efforts through Pakistan Media Development Authority, Imran Khan had engraved his name as a despotic dictator – Musharraf of 2021.

PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif had directed the party to join media’s protest against the black law of Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA) along with the entire opposition.

In a statement PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said Shehbaz had pledged to block the PMDA by standing shoulder to shoulder with the journalist fraternity. He said that this was a draconian law by the fascist rejected government and had been rejected by every section of the society.

The PMLN President along with other opposition Parliamentarians vehemently protested against the law inside and outside the Parliament. They held placards inscribed with slogans against the autocratic PMDA Law. Shehbaz said that no stakeholders were consulted over this black law and he wouldn’t allow it be imposed on the country through bullying.

Speaking at the journalist protests Marriyum said that the imposed government won’t be allowed to impose this law at any cost. Such black actions by this government was going to further smudge the already disfigured and tainted face of the fascist Imran government, she said.

She said that such repressive actions won’t change the fate of the nation that had been doomed after being handed over to the corrupt and incompetent looters of PTI. It would not lower the prices of sugar, flour, electricity, gas, medicines, or everyday essential commodities that this government had jacked up. She said that if this tyrannical government believes that it would manage to win public approval by gagging, censoring and silencing media, it is severely mistaken.

The former Information Minister slammed the highly condemnable action of limiting  media personnel in cafeteria.  Lashing out against the PTI government she said that Imran Khan had revived the legacy of dictator Pervez Musharraf. By hindering the journalists from performing their lawful professional responsibilities, Imran had become the Musharraf of 2021, she said. In addition to other shameful accolades, Imran Khan had now earned tge title of the first person to ban the entry of journalists in the joint session of the Parliament. Those who were tasked with regular coverage of Parliament session were also banned, she told.

Marriyum said Imran would be remembered as the epitome of fascism and dictatorial rule but the people of Pakistan wouldn’t allow this government of hooligans, fascists, and autocratic bullies to last long, she said.
