Marriyum Demamds Legal Action Against Usage of Expired Stents At PIC

ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded thorough investigation of using expired stents at Punjab Institute Of Cardiology (PIC).

In a statement, Marriyum said this government had not only jeopardised the national economy but also the lives of the people. She pointed out that not only did this government snatch away the free medicines from poor Pakistanis after Shehbaz Sharif’s tenure ended, but had jacked up the cost of medicines by a staggering 500 percent while at the same time using expired stents to treat heart patients.

“Imran Khan is responsible for this criminal negligence that has endangered the lives of many. All those responsible for this game of death must be apprehended and booked under law”, she demanded.

The former Information Minister said those defrauded with these expired stents should be reimbursed. Imran should take a break from his narcissistic rants every other day and focus on the real issues plaguing the nation under his criminal negligence and disastrous governance that was costing people’s lives, she said.

Marriyum said this government was a bigger health hazard to the the people of Pakistan than the coronavirus. Those who would survive, the crushing inflation, unemployment and covid-19 would be killed by the expired stents by this government, she lambasted.

She said Imran who used to demand the resignation of the Prime Minister over the death of a bird, was now indifferent to such horrendous fatal actions under his own watch.
