Untoward Incident Due to PTI Comments On Nawaz’ Health Would Be Govt’s Responsibility – Marriyum
ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Nawaz Sharif will not seek political asylum in the UK he will legally stay in Britain till the Immigration Tribunal decides on the appeal against the verdict of the Home Department.
Addressing the media outside Parliament lodges, Marriyum said Nawaz’s health deteriorated while he was in Nab-Niazi alliance’s custody. She reminded that the medical reports and tribunals had said they could not treat Nawaz’s ailment in Pakistan. Even Imran Khan had verified all these fact after the inspection of doctors from his trusted Shaukat Khanum memorial Hospitals and after all this the provincial nd federal governments had sent Nawaz Sharif abroad for treatment after fulfilling all legal requirements, she added.
She said the request for extension in stay was filed with the Home Department on medical grounds in light of the directions by Nawaz Sharif’s doctors. This, she said, was a routine procedure for anyone who seeks to extend their stay in UK. She pointed out that the Home Department mentioned in its decision that Nawaz had the right to an appeal in the Immigration Tribunal. She told that Nawaz’s lawyers had already filed an appeal. Once this right of appeal is practiced, the decision of the home office does not take effect, she stated.
The former Information Minister said, “Because of all these facts, Nawaz will return to Pakistan only after all of his treatment is completed and the doctors declare that they are 100 percent convinced that raveling back to Pakistan would not negatively impact Nawaz’s health and wellbeing. Any speculation before the decision of the immigration tribunal would be premature. This matter is best left to the British immigration and Nawaz Sharif’s lawyers”.
She said the rented spokespersons of Imran Khan had no interest in the real issues being faced by the people of Pakistan under PTI’s terrible rule which was they were obsessed with Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. NAB too was blind to the trillions worth of corruption by this government and were targeting PMLN leaders. She said the special advisor who eloped in the darkness of the night after the mega scandal of ring road, the corruption in sugar, wheat, flour, electricity, gas, medicine; the helicopter case; the 23 illegal secret foreign funding accounts of Imran Khan; billions of nation wasted in bad LNG deals appear completely normal to NAB that refuses to take action against such grotesque acts of corruption and abuse of power.
She said those who try framing Nawaz in baseless allegations must not forget that Nawaz Sharif left his ailing wife on the death bed and came to Pakistan along with his daughter and went to jail, knowing that all these cases were nothing more than political victimization.
She said these hired helps should refrain from politicizing Nawaz’s health to save their jobs. But, it is understandable that these vote thieves and product of stolen elections know no way other than politicizing the health of their opponents. Stooping down to such petty and shallow tactics is proof that their narrative had been destroyed and buried. Their livelihoods and politics depend on pandering to those in power and government doesn’t know any better, she said.
The PMLN Secretary Information said Nawaz SHarof, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail, Khwaja Saad Rafiq, Khwaja Salman Rafiq, Kamran Michael, Khawaja Asif and many other PMLN leaders were kept in death-row cells. They were harassed and mentally tortured. But despite all this, all government records at their disposal, coercion and pressure tactics, this PTI government could not prove a single penny of corruption on PMLN Leaders. This, she said, was not her personal opinion but the verdict of the honorable courts of the country, where Imran and his touts were embarrassed for the total absence of any evidence.
She lashed out against government spokespersons for calling ANwaz an absconder and said Nawaz had returned willingly to Pakistan to bravely face all these cases and jailtime. These shameless mouthpieces lie everytime they open their mouth because their politics, jobs, livelihoods and existence depends on these lies. The truth of these allegations and cases had already been revealed by Judge Arshal Malik and Shaukat Siddiqui.
Marriyum slammed the government for the propaganda that Nawaz was not ill. She said it seemed like PTI had totally lost its mind because it was PTI who sent Nawaz abroad saying that he was extremely ill and were not negating their own stance and saying that Nawaz had fled. This, she said, was because PTI’s own Ministers, advisors had ran away from accountability and were camped outside Pakistan to dodge accountability. Corrupt PTI ATMs were given passage to run from the country overnight, embezzlers are reshuffled in cabinet instead of punished, which was why PTI believes that every politician was like them.
The PMLN Secretary information said PMLN leaders dont believe in running from such petty and shallow tactics but believe in making their opponents run. She warned the government spokespersons to practice restraint while commenting on Nawaz Sharif’s health because they were all turncoats who had already dropped their resumes with other political parties. She said they should be very careful about saying anything inflammatory or crass about Nawaz’s health because the millions of Pakistanis who love Nawaz were very touchy about this subject and any untoward incident because of the incendiary rhetoric of these spokespersons would be a total responsibility of the PTI government.
