ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the PTI government had created a hoax of a split between PMLN ranks to divert attention away from the Election rigging in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Sialkot bypoll, and corruption.
At a press conference in National Press Club Islamabad she said the opponents of PMLN could go on picking alphabets from A to Z to frame a fake split of PML-N OR PML-S or PML- A, B or C. They could use numbers from 1 to 100 and more, but all these theories would only be nothing but a product of their wishful thinking, because PMLN had and will continue to have a singular, cohesive, united narrative that binds every single one of its leaders, members, workers, voters and supporters together under 1 ideology.
She said the nation was still suffering the consequences of the 2018 rigging and RTS fiasco. She said how could it be that the party that got 6 lac votes got 26 seats, the party thay got 4 lac votes got 11 and the party that got 5 lac got only 5 seats.
She dispelled all bottoms of a split narrative in PMLN and said PMLN had only 1 narrative which was respect and sanctity of vote. This is the narrative of both Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif. She said the party would issue a white paper on the corruption of PTI on the completion of 3 years of the Imran Khan government. PMLN would hold daily press conferences to expose the failures of the current government. She said Imran used the ATMs of AJK like disposable commodities which is why they too will speak like Jahangir Tareen.
She said the PMLN has a singular unified narrative of supremacy of the constitution, of civilian rule through respect and sanctity of vote. Quaid Nawaz Sharif, President Shehbaz Sharif right down to the voters and supporters believe in this narrative. This narrative had served the nation and the country for the past decades the proof of which is evident in every part of the country, she added. Meanwhile the ruling party believes in stealing and buying elections which was why it was not interested in serving the people, the proof of which was the skyrocketing inflation, exponential unemployment and poverty. This government knows nothing other than planning to rob people off their sugar, wheat, flour, electricity, gas, and medicine to gather money to buy elections. This hoopla about split in PMLN had always been a tool of distraction from these sinister activities of PTI and when the Imran government plans to flout the constitution.
She dared the PTI government to talk about the state of inflation in the country instead of such cooked up stories. She reminded how this government had crushed the already buried nation under more taxes and inflation in 2021. Imran promised there would be no taxes in the new budget but now imposed Rs 360 billion new taxed and inflation is touching 16 percent which was 20 percent for the poor. The country is ravaged by the most expensive electricity and gas due to terrible and historic expensive LNG deals. 16000 billion rupees worth ofndebt was added. She reminded that those who planned to frame Nawaz in corruption ended up paying country’s Rs 35 billion to broadsheet but there was nobody to answer for this.
