ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the FIA notice sent to Hamza Shehbaz.
In a statement Marriyum said Imran should decide once and for all that how many times would he harass Hamza in the same case. She said the sp called 58 volumes and the 22 months in prison have already addressed all these issues. Every single asset had been declared and the record is with the Election Commission and FBR who had raised no objection on it, she added.
The former Information Minister said all this is nothing but another instrument of political victimisation because NAB-NIAZI alliance had failed miserably. She said that PMLN had already warned FIA against being used as an instrument of political victimisation. Is Imran, FIA and NAB oblivious to the law about double sentencing and punishment for the same accusation, she questioned. She pointed out that the and case was investigated by NAB and Hamza was jailed for two years while the LHC decision over the same has all the details already sorted. This repetitive investigation of the same case is the biggest proof that this is nothing more than political victimisation, she said.
What does Imran want from all this, she asked. No evidence can be presented against Hamza in accountability court nor in Lahore High Court, she stressed.
These cheap tactics becausebof NAB-NIAZI persecution and political victimisation circus must end, she said.
