ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb says the Sugar Investigation Commission should be renamed to Sharif Investigation Commission because that’s all it is doing.
In a statement Marriyum said FIA should send the boring at the the correct address of the real culprit who lives in Bani Gala. She said the Sugar Commission was formed to figure out why did the price of sugar skyrocket, then why were Hamza and Shehbaz Sharif being summoned, she questioned. Did Hamza and Shehbaz increase the price of sugar?, she asked.
Marriyum said Shehbaz Sharif was imprisoned for 1 year and Hamza for 2 years, they had already answered all relevant questions. Why should Shehbaz and Hamza answer for the Rs 400 billion dacoity by Imran Khan on public pockets with sugar theft. Imran needs to read the decision of FIA and Lahore High Court on this issue. The FIA should send notice to the Patron In Cheif of the sugar mafia which is Imran Khan. Imran shot up the price of sugar from Rs 52 to Rs 120, how can Shehbaz and Hamza be questioned over it, she lambasted.
The former Information Minister said FIA should stop this circus as the people of Pakistan won’t be fooled by such tactics any more. The PTI government cannot pressure the PMLN to approve the anti-people budget theory abusing, violence, harassment and fake notices, she concluded.
