ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded that Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar be immediately and be arrested and put on ECL, Black List and PNIL after the revelations of the Ring Road Scandal Fact Finding Commission.
In a statement, Marriyum said she said Imran and Buzdar would not get an NRO over this because the report doesn’t just point out minor irregularities but exposes a dacoity of over Rs 25 billion. She said the real criminals behind this dacoity were Imran and Buzdar as all of this couldn’t have happened right under the nose without them knowing about it.
Marriyum said all these changes were approved both by Imran and Buzdar, which makes this rant about an independent inquiry needless and preposterous. She said as long as these two were in power an independent inquiry was impossible and only eyewash reports could be generated to exonerate the culprits who enjoy their patronage.
The former Information Minister said at one hand Imran victimizes Shehbaz Sharif with fake cases while at the other hand he alters Shehbaz Sharif’s projects to benefits the Rent Seekers. She demanded that government offices must be especially opened during Eid holdays to put the names of Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar on ECL, Black List and the Person Not In List to ensure that they don’t elope to dodge justice.
She reminded that despite 3 years of rigorous scrutiny PTI government could not prove a single penny of corruption on PMLN whereas the number of proven corruption cases under PTI government were countless. She said the corruption, kickbacks, rent-seekers, theft of sugar flour, medicine and LNG had crushed people under inflation and taken away their livelihoods.
