PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that instead of lying to the nation in Multan, Imran Khan should have apologized to Pakistan for failing to fulfill a single promise he made during his campaign.
At a press conference in islamabad , Marriyum said Imran takes Pakistanis as fools and believes that they had forgotten that he had promised a separate South Punjab Province, not just a South Punjab Secretariat. She said Imran had exploited not just the wishes of the people of South Punjab but had also insulted their mandate by buying in the politicians who were the known turncoats of the region.
The former Information Minister said Imran’s baffled state of mental health is understandable because when he stood at the podium today, he know he had failed the people of South Punjab.
She said Imran’s state of mind is understandable because on his way to Multan he would have seen the roads he used to get there were all built by Shehbaz Sharif. His state of mind is understandable because on his way to Multan he saw the schools, the colleges, the universities, the hospitals, the dispensaries, the burn units and the metros made by Shehbaz Sharif for the people of South Punjab. She said Imran’s sense of failure is understandable because he must have seen the infrastructure built by Shehbaz Sharif as opposed to the absolute zilch done by Imran other than hollow promises and lipservice.
Marriyum said this sudden awakening f Southern Punjab’s Secretariat in Imran Khan’s books was because of another special reason. That special reason is the airplane that takes off from South Punjab these days to land in Lahore. The aircraft that takes off from South Punjab and lands In Islamabad, she added. That airplane is the reason why out of nowhere after almost 3 years, Imran felt insecure and rushed to inaugurate a plaque in the name of South Punjab Secretariat.
The PMLN Secretary Information slammed Imran’s mocking of Shehbaz Sharif’s hat and shoes and said Imran can never fathom that those shoes took Shehbaz to the homes of the poor flash-flood stricken Pakistanis. Those boots took Shehbaz to day and night in person supervision of the tens of thousands of kilometers of roads and motorways and metros, not to Nathiagali at a time of crisis like Imran Khan.
These acts understandably don’t make any sense to Imran Khan because he cannot fathom the concept of public service. He cannot understand all this because he had thrown Punjab at the feet of history’s most incompetent and inept person in the form of Usman Buzdar, she said. Usman Buzdar who had turned the entire province into a pile of trash just the way he had turned Lahore into a garbage infested city. But she said soon the people of Punjab would be rescued from this avalanche of incompetence.
Marriyum said Imran’s obsession and fear of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif is understandable because he now knows that he can never measure up to the development done by the PMLN leaders. Imran’s fear is understandable because he plummeted the country’s growth to minus zero point four while Nawaz and Shehbaz took it to 5.8. Imran’s fear is understandable because Nawaz and Shehbaz kept inflation rate at 3 percent while Imran jacked it up to 16 percent. Imran’s fear is understandable because Nawaz and Shehbaz incentivized sugarcane growers while keeping sugar at Rs 52 per kg while Imran jacked it up to Rs 120 per kg. Imran’s fear is understandable because he has jacked up circular debt exponentially whielNawaz and Shehbaz eliminated 22 hors of load shedding. She said Imran fear of Nawaz and Shehbaz is understandable because he had made medicines for public hospitals 500 times more expensive, whereas Nawaz and Shehbaz had made them free for people.
The PMLN Secretary Information said the Sugar, flour, medicine, electricity, gas, LNG and vote robbing Prime Minister can never understand what true public service is which is why despite everything he was gifted, he has failed and will soon be ousted from the office he never deserved.
The PMLN leadership had proved themselves through accountability of four decades and everytime they were vindicated by the courts on merit. But she said it was now time for Imran to be held accountable for Peshawar Metro, Mallam Jabba, Sugar Scandal, flour scandal, 23 secret foreign funding accounts in all which is he is as guilty as guilty can be.
