LAHORE: PMLN Vice President and Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz says the incompetent PTI has turned every sector of Pakistan into a heap of trash just like Lahore while the crushing the people under worst historic inflation.
In a statement Hamza said masses had the facility of free medical treatment and free medicines under the PMLN government which had been snatched away by the PTI regime. Not just that, this government had taken away the right to life by jacking up prices of medicines by 500 percent, he added. The middle class of Pakistan is struggling to survive ,he said.
Hamza said the people were forced to buy Rs 52 per kg sugar during PMLN rule, at Rs 120 per kg under PTI. the four available at Rs 32 per kg under PMLN is being sold at Rs 80 per kg under PTI. The edible oil sold at Rs 142 under PMLN, is being sold at Rs 290 under PTI. The eggs sold at Rs 84 under PMLN were being sold at Rs 170 per dozen. The electricity tariff has jumped from Rs 11 per unit under PMLN to Rs 24 per unit under PTI. The poor were given electricity at Rs 3.7 per unit which had now doubled to Rs 6.3 under PTI. The circular debt was Rs 1,036 billion under PMLN which is now Rs 2,700 billion under PTI. PMLN left foreign debt $ 70 billion, which is now $ 83 billion. PMLN left poverty rate at 3.9 percent but the PTI has increased it to 15 percent.
The Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader said the unqualified Imran Khan has led the country to economic disaster. The corrupt and incompetent Imran has turned the beautiful city of Lahore into a trash can ,and like it every sector of Pakistan, he said.
