Marriyum Flays Selected Govt’s Demand of Election Commission’s Resignation

ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb has termed the demand for Election Commission’s resignation ridiculous, unconstitutional, illegal and a contempt of a constitutional institution.

In a statement, Marriyum questioned in what capacity is the rejection government demanding this resignation. She said the selected Prime Minister wants to hijack, enslave and weaponise tge Election Commission just like NAB.

“If anyone’s resignation is mandated its the selected Prime Minister who abducted 20 presiding officers, held them hostage and stole votes in the Daska elections. The selected Prime Minister who bought his way into the Senate and helped his ATMs win. The selected Prime Minister who is an absconder in the Foreign Funding Case for the past 6 years and hasn’t submitted his answers. He should resign who’s 23 illegal secret accounts were unearthed by the State Bank and later covered up. The selected Prime Minister should resign because the nation and Parliament had given their vote of no confidence to him. The resignation is mandated of the selected Prime Minister who stole people’s sugar, wheat, flour, electricity, gas, medicines and LNG. This imposed incompetent corruption selected Prime Minister who is trying to bully the Election Commission dealing with the Daska Election Commission case under the Supreme Court”, she said.
