Marriyum Demands Shehbaz’s Immediate Release After PMLN President Wins Defamation Suit Against Daily Main In UK Court
ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb says the decision of the UK court in favor of Shehbaz Sharif in the defamation case against the ‘Daily Mail’ and consequently the PTI government is a resounding slap on Imran Khan’s face that exposes his shameless and vicious witch-hunt against PMLN leadership.
In a statement, Marriyum flayed the PTI saying the court not only shot down the malicious propaganda by the imposed government through the Daily Mail, but has eviscerated the false narrative against Shehbaz Sharif in its entirety and had vindicated him. She demanded that the dishonored PTI government should stop embarrassing itself and must release Shehbaz Sharif from the illegal abduction of the NAB-Niazi Alliance. She said if the shameless government had an ounce of integrity left in them they should withdraw all of their fictitious, baseless cases motivated by political victimization, vengeance and prejudice against the PMLN President.
The former Information Minister said the British court not only ruled against the PTI government’s ferocious propaganda, but called it “Chase Level 1 defamation” which means the highest form of defamation. She said the court clearly shot down the entire narrative of corruption against Shehbaz Sharif by agreeing that the article peddled by the selected stooge Imran Khan and his jester Shehzad Akbar against Shehbaz was “based on assumptions”. The court also termed the assertion of “actual detailed evidence against Shahbaz Sharif” mentioned in the article as also based on assumptions.
Marriyum said this decision, especially after the earlier revelation regarding commission in Broadsheet case is the darkest blotch on Shehzad Akbar’s face. She said it was clear that Akbar had no honor left in him because he would have died of shame after this decision remembering how he waved around fake documents against Shehbaz Sharif. Why did he not present those so-called undeniable proofs in the UK court.
She also slammed Imran Khan who very proudly issued photographs with the Daily mail journalist after feeding him lies and planting this story. Like this pack of lies, all of Imran’s lies will file flat on their face, she said. The coward, hypocrite Imran had been hiding from Shehbaz Sharif for the past 5 years in the defamation case in Pakistan also. She said Imran will bite dust in that case too, the day he cannot abuse the power of the office gifted to him against the will of the people if Pakistan.
She demanded that the PTI, its selected Prime Minister and every member of the party should apologize to Shehbaz Sharif, the PMLN and to the entire nation.
