Shehbaz Saved Nation’s Millions In Just LSWMC, PTI Asked For Commission On Public Money – Marriyum
LAHORE: PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb says those who openly demand commission on nations money are accusing Shehbaz Sharif who saved the nation’s billions even after final bids of national development projects.
Talking to media outside NAB Court Lahore, Marriyum slammed allegations against Shehbaz Sharif and said that there is documentary proof of how Shehbaz saved nation’s mill just in the Lahore Solid Waste Management Company. She said the company was carrying out Solid Waste Management, Collection, Transportation, Mechanical Sweeping, Manual Sweeping and Mechanical Washing within zone 1 and zone 2 of Lahore.
The former Information Minister told media that the contract for all these jobs were tendered out and the lowest bid was by Al-Bayrak and Ozpak who were doing this job since 2011. The lowest bid for zone was Rs 199.21 million and for zone 2 it was Rs 228.13 million and a total of Ra 427.34 million. After the final bid, Shehbaz made a procurement committee to negotiate further cost cuts with the companies after which zone 1 came down Rs 10 million and zone II by Rs 1.13 million.
Marriyum said even after that Shehbaz Sharif held meeting with the companies and negotiated a further decrease and in the end the then Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif save the nation’s more than Rs 107 million rupees, unlike this imposed selected PTI government that demands commission from foreign companies.
She said tge incompetent, unqualified, corrupt and commission-agent government is incapable of public service delivery which is why it persecutes those who served the people through political victimisation. The selected Prime Minister praises those for brilliant performance who can’t even manage Lahore’s garbage. The city of flowers which had become an example for all Pakistan is littered with garbage ever since PTI came into power, she said. The city where mechanical Sweeping and transportation of solid waste was done, is not being managed with bull and donkey carts. The vehicles that used to transport garbage had become rusted rotten garbage themselves under this imposed administration, she said.
Marriyum said the so-called Advisor on accountability had embarrassed himself, tge imposed government and tge corrupt in chief Imran Khan every time the court asked for proof against Shehbaz Sharif. From Saaf Paani, Ashiyaana Scheme, Multan Metro, DFID to all other cases, despite having access to all records and abuse of government power, not a single penny of corruption was proven against Shehbaz Sharif, she added.
Answering a question regarding why Imran keeps praising Usman Buzdar inspite of terrible governance, Marriyum said Imran praises Buzdar because if Buzdar wasn’t their who would enable Rs 400 billion dacoity of Public money on sugar, who would patronise the Rs 225 billion robbed in public flour, who would assist commissions and land grabbing that pays for the renovation of Imran’s Zaman Park House, his Bani Gala Mansion. She said even Imran’s car qualifies to be questioned under asset beyond means. Imran has every reason to praise Buzdar because he enables all robbing and grabbing of public money and land that pays through Imran’s ATMs for Imran’s lifestyle and even his kitchen expenditures.
The PMLN Secretary lnformation said Shehbaz Sharif was following in the footsteps of PMLN Quaid Nawaz Sharif who gave up his immunity andnpresented himself for accountability despite the clear malice, bias and mala fide intent against him. Shehbaz is answering every question by the court and will be vindicated because he had served the people of Pakistan with devotion, passion and not just transparency but extra effort to save the nation’s money.
