PMLN Leadership Expresses Concern, Alarm over Rapidly Deteriorating State of Pakistan At All Fronts
A high level meeting of PML-N has reviewed the overall situation in the country and has expressed serious concern and alarm over rising inflation, unemployment, economic collapse, foreign policy failures, the internal and external situation of the country.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Party Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal, former Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Senator Pervez Rashid, PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah Khan, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan, Central Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, Mian Javed Latif, Deputy Secretary General of the party Ataullah Tarar and other attended the meeting.
Expressing satisfaction over the successful public meetings of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Gujranwala, Karachi and Quetta, it expressed gratification over the fact that the people of Pakistan were showing enthusiasm in the political struggle of PDM and the selected government has lost its footing because of the overwhelming participation of the people in these public meetings.
The meeting concluded that the selected government is desperately struggling and losing the battle of propaganda warfare which is why it resorted to the narrative of treason on the behest of Indian media which sia clear proof of a the shameful defeat to the government on this front.
The rubble of the selected government’s heels on the propaganda front and the propaganda of a high profile statement of treason under the influence of the Indian media is a sign of defeat.
The meeting strongly condemned the negative publicity campaign against former Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and said that despite the issuance of explanations, such tactics were in fact are ploys to distract public attention from inflation, unemployment, destruction of economy and foreign policy. But the worst is incompetence and failure and a failed attempt to cover up government corruption.
The meeting decided that in the next phase, the people and workers should be mobilized to make the PDM meetings in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a complete success. PML-N, from PDM and party platforms, is playing a historic role against vote theft and for the constitutional, legal, democratic and economic rights of the people. It will play its role with even more force in the future and will not back down from its mission at any cost.
The meeting strongly condemned Prime Minister Imran Khan’s threat to the IG prisons not to provide legal facilities to party president and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz. The meeting declared that selected Imran Khan’s fascism, madness driven by political revenge, his illegal actions cannot save his already shaky government from falling.
The meeting paid homage to the sacrifices of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz Sharif for the constitution, law, democracy, party ideology and the spirit of fighting against political victimization. The meeting also appreciated the spirit of the party leaders and workers that they are standing in the field with full determination and courage under the leadership of Quaid-e-Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting also discussed the party’s future programs, political activities and political struggle.
