Interference Of Institutions In Government At All Time High – Mengal

Balochistan National Party Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal says the interference of institutions in politics has hit new highs where it has spread from Balochistan to the entire country.

Talking to media after meeting with Maryam Nawaz at Jati Umra, Mengal thanked Maryam for coming to Balochistan and said the issues of Balochistan had been long ignored by most political parties and Pakistan. But he said PDM has now seen these issues with its own eyes and stressed that PDM would need to be supported in every way possible.

Mengal said if the government gives a tough time, it will get twice and much in return. He said there is no government in Balochistan and that he wouldn’t want to comment any further on the issue. He said everyone’s mandate was robbed in one way or the other. Mandate of Balochistan had always been robbed and not by any external force.

He said even if the idea and realisation of promoting and strengthening democracy in Balochistan has come after a long while, it is never too late. He said he and his parry has been saying for a long while what Nawaz Sharif has said recently.

He said he had stayed steadfast on the same stance and direction and had never taken a U-turn. He said he and his party had always stood by democracy and democratic principles even when they were accused of being anti-democracy but now nobody can dare allege that. He said he enjoyed support of Balochistan’s political parties and after meeting with PDM will announce the action agenda in the upcoming public meeting.

He said he trusted Imran but was betrayed. Imran does not have more power than to just make a metro bus and he can’t even do that right, he said. He expressed grief over the wave of terrorism in the country and especially the Peshawar seminary attack.
