Govt’s Fascist Acts Can’t Stop Gujranwala Congregation – PDM
PDM’s Provincial Leadership has pledged that the October 16th Gujranwala public meeting will take place no matter how hard the government pushes to stop it.
In a meeting to review the preparations for the public meeting on October 16th was held in Gujranwala. The provincial leadership analysed the impediments by the PTI government to sabotage the congregation and mulled strategies to counter the government’s measures.
PMLN Punjab President Rana Sanaullah, Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith head Allama Sajid Mir and PPP’s Qamar Zaman Kaira along with leaders of other political parties attended the meeting.
The meeting said the constitutional rights of freedom of expression, association and assembly were being usurped by the government to stall the public meeting. It observed that the fascist PTI was using government machinery to hinder the congregation. It expressed strong resolve to combat all such actions.
