Marriyum Demands Imran’s Resignation, Shehbaz & Hamza Release After Bashir Memonvs Revelations
PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded that Imran Khan should be indicted in misuse of authority, violation of articles 62 and 63 of the constitution and causing harm to national treasury based on his actions in the past 2 years and especially in light of the interview of former DG FIA Bashir Memon.
In a press conference in Islamabad Marriyum said, Bashir Memon said Imran called him into his office and ordered him to create cases against the entire Sharif family. Imran also specifically ordered that terrorism charges be brought against Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar because a picture of the first lady had been leaked. She said the DG FIA refused saying that such a case is out of the question and against all laws.
Imran then demanded that corruption cases be made against Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz, Salman Shehbaz and especially Shehbaz Sharif’s wife and to also include the 56 companies. The selected Prime Minister also demanded that Khawaja Asif be charged with article 6 high treason for withdrawing salary from abroad. Marriyum said she salutes Bashir Memon for refusing to bow down to these unlawful demands.
The former Information Minister said when the DG FIA told Imran that K-Electric owes the government Rs 87 billion and there is sufficient proof of this. Instead of appreciating this service to the country, Imran got upset with the DG and asked him why did he proceed on it, which amounts to causing harm to national interest and treasury. Imran also specifically told Bashir Memon to stop investigating the 23 foreign funding accounts at once and also forced the election commission to do the same. Imran and PTI has not submitted an answer to these cases, she said. Had this been Riyaasat-e-Madina, Imran would have been under investigation and had Imran believed in Riyaasat-e-Madina Imran would have resigned after these striking revelations by Bashir Memon, she said.
She said after these revelations by Bashir Memon PMLN demands that Imran resigns and answers all these allegations without the power of the state at his behest and that all frivolous cases that Bashir Memon refused to register be withdrawn and they be released from illegal detention.
Marriyum said the PTI workers should hold Imran accountable for using one of them to file mutiny and treason cases and then disowning them and they end up becoming missing persons. She said this selected Prime Minister’s first act was not to build economy, provide jobs and relief to nation, build homes for the poor. His first act as selected Prime Minister was to go after his political opponents with state power and resources, she said.
The PMLN Secretary lnformation said Imran is the most incompetent, inept, clueless and biggest failure in the history of Pakistan who gets to know about everything after it had damaged the country from currency devaluation to sugar shortage, wheat shortage, medicine price hike, fuel shortage and every disaster this Imran-led Mafia government has brought upon this country.
And when the DG FIA refused doing all this, Imran formed the NAB-Niazi alliance to pursue his vengeful agenda of political victimisation, she said. She said decisions of tye Supreme Court, High Court, Human Rights Watch reports, all vindicated Bashir Memon.
Marriyum said the current cases on Nawaz Sharif have been made up because he exposed all this abuse of power, government machinery for personal vendetta, damage to exchequer, violation of the constitution and misuse of national institutions.
