Refuse to live in my own country like a slave – Nawaz
Shehbaz Sharif Is an Exemplary Loayl Ideological Associate, Furthered Party’s Narrative – Nawaz
PMLN Quaid and Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says he refuses to live in his own country like a slave and will make sure that he lives with the dignity and pride of a free Pakistani because he has decided to stand up against the forces of subjugation.
Addressing the PMLN Central Executive Committee meeting Nawaz siad he is sad over Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest and the way he has been treated.
He said all the political victimization has only boosted the spirit of PMLN and it has proven as an impetus to invigorate the struggle even more. He said he is proud of the fact that his companions are braving the extremely challenging times. He said the way there is no precedence in the history of the country the way children of PMLN leaders have been treated by this government.
He said Shehbaz Sharif has exhibited exemplary courage, valour and resilience. He said he salutes Shehbaz Sharif for serving the nation with honesty. Shehbaz worked day and night to set up electricity plants in Punjab, he added. He said Shehbaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Khawaja Asif deserve the highest of praise for this achievement. He said Ishaq Dar provided the resources for these projects, he said, and congratulated the nation over these successes. He also commended the government officials whohelped end the shortage of power in the country.
The PMLN Quaid said Shehbaz Sharif is a brave fighter who has never knelt in the face of even the most difficult times. He said Shehbaz Sharif helped further the narrative of PMLN. Nawaz said he is proud of his brother who set a new example of loyalty and ideological association.
Nawaz said instead of arresting the proven corrupt Asim Saleem Bajwa,Shehbaz Sharifhas been arrested. Nobody inquired as to how did Asim Salim Bajwa made billion. He said Asim Bajwa has been a given a clean shit exactly like Justice Saqib Nisar gave to Bani Gala.
He said Islam teaches to never look back after taking a stand against evil. He said PMLN will struggle harder and overcome every difficulty to rescue the nation. He said the time isn’t far when those responsible for all this and the deplorable condition of the people of Pakistan will be held accountable and answerable. He said he has deiced that he has made uphis mind that he will not live a life marred by humiliation. He prayed to God to help him in his noble mission. Nawaz said once the nation decides to stand up against injustices, oppression andsubjugation, they will be able to dethrone the selected system and bring true change in their lives and their country.
Nawaz said the selected and imposed Prime Minister is extremely incapable, incompetent and a mindless maniac. He said those who imposed him must be repenting, but they are the ones that have to be held accountable. He said the Pakistan Democratic Alliance agrees that Imran is a culprit but even bigger culprits are those who imposed him on this country, for which they are answerable to the nation.
He pledged that he will be available to serve the party on every day basis in any role at any time. He said he wants the party to pitch in ideas to formulate the strategy for the achievement of these goals. He mentioned hat Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman and Raja Faroq Haider as very important part of the family and said he respects their input a lot. Nawaz said the Sukkur-Hyderabad mortorway is still incomplete and had he stayed in power, it would have been completed by now.
The former Prime Minister said despite a barrage of obstructions, PMLN government achieved many milestones during the 4 years of their government. He said the government completed development projects despite sit-ins and shot the country’s growth rate to 5.8 which plummeted to minus 1 now. He said the PMLN government brought Pakistan out of the fATF grey list into white and built thoroughfares not only in Punjab but in Balochistan as well. Similarly, he said a thoroughfare from D G Khan to Quetta and Hazara motorway without any discrimination of province or provincial government. Developed Gawadar and connected it with the transport infrastructure. He said CPEC is not an ordinary or run-of-the-mill project and commended Ahsan Iqbal for his relentless hard work. He said the PMLN government controlled inflation, created jobs and made the lives of people better. But he said the current government has made life hell for the masses. The people are unable to make ends meet, cant pay electricity and ggas bills or feed their families, pay for healthcare as the cost of medicine even lifesaving drugs have skyrocketed, which is extreme cruelty. Flour’s price has hot through the roof and it is set for a market shortage because wheat has not been imported. During PMLN government Pakistan used to export wheat, he reminded. Who will make the big bucks on this import of wheat, he said, and added where would that money come from. The same situation prevails regarding sugar, he said. He commended Shehbaz Sharif for not letting sugar prices soar despite extreme pressures.
Nawaz said the the entire country knows what former DG ISIS Zaheer-ul-Islam did. He said Zaheer-ul-Islam sent a message at midnight to him that if he wouldn’t resign a marshal law would be imposed in Pakistan. But Nawaz said he refused to reign come what may. He said if the military does not intervene in politics what should be made of Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri’s statement. General Qamar Javed Bajwa told Maualana Haideri to step aside because the military is proceeding against Nawaz Sharif. The army never rebutted Maulana Haider’s statement which makes everything very clear, he said. He reminded the statements of Justice Shaukat Aziz Sidiqui in the bar meeting but no action was taken.
He said his conscience does not allow that the mass rigging in elections should be accepted. The RTS rigging cannot be accepted as a result of fate, he added. The country has fallen into the slavery of its own individuals even after getting independence from the British. He said the parliament is being run not by the representatives but someone else who dictates what bills to table in the house. The parliament has been turned into a rubber stamp. He commended the journalist who questioned as t why did a military person come to meet the judge. But he said that question wasn’t answered because there was no answer. He said Judge Arshad Malik accepted he made the decision under pressure. He was dismissed but the decision has not, which is mindboggling.
Nawaz said all this has been going on for 7 decades but PMLN has now decided not to let this go on. The practice of getting favorable decisions through courts under pressure cant be allowed anymore. He said he will not compromise his dignity for politics. He said the time has come to think over all these matters.
