Marriyum Slams Imran’s Blame On PMLN Regarding Electricity Shortage
PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum has slammed Imran Khan’s statement regarding lack of electricity capacity in the country and blaming it on the PMLN government.
In a statement Marriyum said, Imran doesn’t even know the basic facts about Pakistan’s energy needs and capacity. He said PMLN had a very good idea of both, which is why it added over 13,000 megawatts to the national grid within a span of just 5 years. Within the same tenure, PTI could not add a single megawatt to the KPK grid where their government was.
She reminded Imran that Nawaz laid the foundations for the world most inexpensive LNG and to this day, LNG-powered plants are producing 5000 megawatts of electricity. During the times when Imran was busy with his incoherent and preposterous ramblings on top of the container, Nawaz was busy completing ‘Tarbela 4’ and ‘Dasu 3’.
“Imran Khan has not added a single megawatt to the national grid over 7 year rule in KPK and 2 years in federal government. He can only make damn-fools, not dams”, she said.
Its been 7 years now, where are the 350 dams in KPK, she questioned. During just 5 years Shehbaz Sharif added 5,000 megawatts to the country’s capacity but is now facing the consequences of serving the nation and getting them out of the darkness of load-shedding.
Those who served the nation and gave them one good news after the other, have been persecuted and kept in death row cells by Imran Khan, she said.
