PMLN Pleads Nawaz Not To Return Before Treatment Completion, Fitness Certificate Froms Doctors
PMLN has pleaded its Quaid Nawaz Sharif not to compromise his health and return to Pakistan only after he recovers and all of his doctors permit him to travel back to Pakistan.
At a joint press conference after a consultative meeting of PMLN Party’s Secretary General Ahasan Iqbal said it is grave matter that concerns the life of Nawaz Sharif. He said such matters of life and death are not decided over talk-shows. He said the party will not compromise in any way over the life its Quaid Nawaz Sharif. The party also said it expects that the supreme judiciary will consider the state of healthcare systems’ capacity across the world due to the new coronavirus patients and the threat posed to Nawaz Sharif’s life.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, party’s Parliamentary Khawaja Asif and other leaders of the party were also present at the press conference. Ahsan said PTI had attacked Begum Kulsoom Nawaz with the most irresponsible and scathing remarks during her ailment and even after her death the PTI leaders were shamelessly unapologetic over their acts.
He said PMLN has decided to plead to Nawaz Sharif that he should not return to the country unless his doctors give him a no-objection fitness certificate. The party requested that Nawaz should return only after the completion of his medical treatment. Ahsan said Nawaz is an invaluable asset for Pakistan and millions of its people who love him and support him which is why there can be no compromise made on his health and safety.
The former Interior Minister said that the judiciary of Pakistan allowed Nawaz to travel abroad for treatment under extremely unavoidable circumstances that posed a direct threat to his life. He said the judiciary gave Nawaz this permission to complete his treatment, therefore unless that treatment is completed, Nawaz shouldn’t return. The government had ascertained the condition of Nawa Sharif itself and had given its consent for his treatment abroad due to incapacity of the local healthcare system, he said. Therefore, Nawaz’s health is the first and foremost priority right now, he added.
He said it is no secret that the whole world was faced by the covid-19 pandemic right after Nawaz went abroad for treatment. For months hospitals were only catering to covid patients and treatment facilities were shut for everyone else. Nawaz Sharif is not the only one affected by these delays as all patients across the world were affected by the pandemic in one way or the other.
He said PMLN expects that the judiciary of Pakistan will take into account these circumstances and the advice of doctors and medical experts. Answering a question, he said Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan to ensure fulfill the requirements of law and justice, leaving his beloved wife on the death-bed. He said considering this unmatchable precedence set by thePMLN Quaid, suspecting his intent would be an insult to his resolve.
The PMLN Secretary General said that the party’s legal team is evaluating all legal aspects of the situation. He mentioned that all reports regarding Nawaz’s treatment and medical condition are regularly submitted as per the court’s order and that will continue to happen.
Answering a question regarding the APC, he said a meeting of the Rahbar committee was held which has decided to hold the APC on September 20th. He said the APC has been called while the National Assembly would be in session on the proposal of PMLN, he told. Responding to a query regarding ousting the government, he said PMLN wanted to give sufficient time to PTI government so that its incapacity and incompetence would be exposed in front of the nation. He said PMLN wanted that the people would see for themselves how PTI is incapacitate dto deliver and fulfill any of the promises made during its campaign and today the nation has seen that it was all lies, deicied and fraud.
Ahsan said the truth of PTI started from an economy of eggs, chickens to sheep and Calves and it has now taken another turn with the hemp economy. He said it seems PTI’s next move would be to sow poppy and marijuana. Khawaja Asif said PTI wants to get the entire nation high. He said PMLN Quaid Nawaz Sharif should know that the entire nation is united and stronger than a mountain under his leadership.
