Shehbaz Slams India’s Use of Brute Force On Moharram Mourners In IIOJK
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned Indian Occupying Forces’ brutal use of pellet-guns and tear-gas on Kashmiris in Moharram Procession in the Illegally Indian Occupied Kashmir.
In a statement Shehbaz said, the use of pellet guns is a violation of international law and human right charters and conventions. Practicing and processing religion including mourning are a universal human right.
He said Kashmiris are facing and braving modern Day Yazeed by following the principles and footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.S).
Shehbaz urged the international community and the UN to take notice of these restrictions and use of pellet guns by India Occupying Forces.
