After DG CAA Letter, PM, Minister Must Resign For Misuse Of Authority, Damaging Country’s Repute, Treasury – Shehbaz
LAHORE: PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has demanded that Imran Khan must resign from the office of Prime Minister for defiling the nation flag carrier PIA, causing it billions in losses and embarrassing Pakistan all over the world with his government’s misinformation statements that have turned out to be false.
In a statement, Shehbaz said after the letter issues by the Director General Civil Aviation Authority, there is no doubt that action must be taken against Imran Khan and the concerned Minster. He said incompetent Imran and his blunderous minister is responsible for the billions worth of losses to the country’s national airline. This, he said, is the real misuse of authority and corruption that costs the exchequer irreparable damage.
The National Assembly Opposition Leader said the world will now question the veracity and authenticity of the report and the Minister’s ability to read the report that led to these catastrophic consequences for PIA. He said the world would be at a loss to decide whether to trust the Minister who gave such scathing statements on the PM’s instruction or the DG CAA.
The PMLN President questioned as to who should be punished for this false statement by the minister on the floor of the house. Who will pay for the financial losses, who will make up for the damage to the livelihoods of expatriates. Who would be published for the defiling of Pakistan’s image in the international community. He said it is not the pilots but the Prime Minister and his Ministers who are fake.
Shehbaz said those who crashed the national economy have now crashed the national airline as well. He said these fake rulers with fake profiles and titles deserve punishment.
