Shehbaz Instructs PM AJK, CM GB to Increase Salaries, Pensions of Govt Employees
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has directed Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider and Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafizur Rehman to ensure increase in the salaries and pension of government employees.
In his special instruction, Shehbaz said considering the skyrocketing inflation and raging pandemic, relief to the working class of Pakistan is quintessential.
He told them that the government employees have been crushed under this inflation and unprecedented devaluation of the Pakistani rupee. He said pensioners are the most vulnerable section of the society which is why it is crucial to ensure their wellbeing.
He said these sections of the society should never be disappointed by the government which is why their hopes should not be crushed.
