Shehbaz Slams Govt Created Petroleum Shortage In Country
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the shortage of Petroleum in the country and the consequent problems faced by the people.
In a statement Shehbaz said this crisis shows the state of paralysis of this government that is making the same mistake it made regarding the dollar, economic policy and natural gas. He told the government to sort out a solution with the petroleum companies instead of punishing the people of Pakistan for its incompetence.
He said the people of Pakistan are baffled over the fact that the process of Petroleum went negative worldwide while in Pakistan it has become a rare commodity. He said the true fruits of historic plunge in Petroleum prices were not transferred to the people.
The National Assembly Opposition Leader said, “the government’s incompetence and mismanagement is at its peak. Imran Khan is telling the private oil companies to most their prices while he isn’t doing the same himself”.
He questioned why were the advantages of historic global oil price decrease not transferred to the people by lowering electricity, gas tariffs and reducing prices of other commodities of daily use.
Shehbaz warned that failure to timely solve this crisis will not only adversely affect the fight against locust swarm attacks on agriculture but will worsen all existing challenges to the country.
