Shehbaz Witch Hunt Distraction From Imran’s Covid-19 Fight Disaster – Marriyum
PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb has challenged NAB Chairman that if there is any sense of justice in Pakistan, he should arrest Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar for proven robbery of billions in the sugar scandal, instead of staging a circus of witch hunting of Shehbaz Sharif.
Talking to media at the PMLN Lahore Secretariat while NAB, baton-charged and harassed PMLN female and male workers. Marriyum said the entire fiasco of raiding party’s Model town Secretariat was to put up a show to divert people’s attention from the the panic, misery and disastrous situation of coronavirus in the country due to the blunders and failure of this government to make and implement a strategy.
“If Shehbaz Sharif is arrested against the law and due procedure, the people of Pakistan will arrest Imran Khan from Bani Gala”, she promised.
She said Shehbaz Sharif had filed a petition in the high court pleading that all of NAB-Niazi Alliance’s actions are based on nefarious agenda and malintent. The divisional bench of the High Court is set to take up that petition on Wednesday at 12 and NAB was made aware of that. She also told the media that She had written a letter to NAB to apprise them of the same. But despite that, the NAB-Niazi Tag Team chose to illegally raid PMLN Secretariat without a search warrant, barged in, baton charged men and women alike. The Supreme Court had already pointed out that NAB’s actions are either based on malintent or severe incompetence, she reminded.
Marriyum said the Imran government is planning to present the worst people-crushing budget and PTI is trying to keep Shehbaz away from the budget session through this arrest. They are trying to put him behind bars because Imran is a petty and scared person who cannot sit in the presence of Shehbaz speaking the truth about one nation jeopardising blunder after the other.
Marriyum said Shehbaz Sharif is being persecuted and politically victimised for two and a half years straight. He was imprisoned by NAB-Niazi tag team for over 130 days during which he was exhaustively interrogated. She said Shehbaz has been cooperating with the Bureau in every way and even presented himself recently for investigating despite being vulnerable to covid-19 as he is a cancer survivor.
“The NAB-Niazi Alliance has all the records and documents for tge past 2 and half years and from Saaf Paani, Ashiyaana Scheme, 56 companies, Multan Metro, Earthquake Fund, DFID and every other case propped up against Shehbaz has fallen flat on its face. Not a single penny of corruption has been proven on him despite the worst political victimisation and smear campaign by this administration. All this while the NAB turns a blind eye to billions robbed by Imran Khan from the nation in sugar scandal, medicine import, 24 secret accounts, foreign funding case, Mallam Jabba case and others. This is the most blatant abuse and travesty of justice ever imaginable”, she said.
This cricus of Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest is part of PTI’s usual diversion tactics every time their blunders jeopardise the country and the lives of the people of this country. The countrys economic growth is at negative 1 percent, the inflation and joblessness are unprecedented that’s why once again PTI is staging its circus through rented stooges who arrived in Pakistan with briefcases and will leave at the blink of an eye because they have no stakes in this country, she said.
