Pakistan, US Should Continue Working Together For Shared Future – Shehbaz
PMLN President and National Assembly Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif while thanking US Ambassador Paul Jones for his valued role in strengthening bilateral relationship with Pakistan has stressed the imperative need to continue working together towards a shared future.
Responding to the letter by his excellency Mr Jones, Shehbaz extendee his heartfelt gratitude the kind greetings for the holy month of Ramadan. He lauded Jones’ invaluable positive role in fortifying the bilateral ties between the two countries. .
The National Assembly Opposition Leader appreciated the letter by American Ambassador to apprise Shehbaz of the cooperation extended by the US to Pakistan in the shared fight against COVID-19. Indeed, in addition to the health crisis we will see long term economic implications following this pandemic as well. Therefore, it is Imperative that we continue to work together towards a better future, he said.
Shehbaz said he is grateful for the extensive support that the US has rendered to Pakistan in addressing the COVID-19 public health crisis. The bilateral relations between our countries are dynamic and vibrant, and this has been evident during the time of the current crisis, he pointed out.
The PMLN President extend deepest sympathies and condolences on the loss of more than 80,000 precious American lives due to the corona virus in the US. He hoped the citizens of the world will be able to overcome this virus sooner rather than later. He appreciated the US Ambassador’s thoughtfulness and generosity and wish him and his family all the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan for you and your family.
