Marriyum Slams NAB Multan’s 1976 Case Notice To Shehbaz As Ridiculous
PMLN Secretary lnformation Marriyum Aurangzeb has termed the NAB Multan’s accusation and notice to Shehbaz Sharif regarding distribution of Laal Suhanra land in 1976, absolutely ridiculous.
In a statement Marriyum said after facing one failure after the other to frame Shehbaz, the NAB-Niazi alliance has come down to such hilarious prepositions of which they should be ashamed of. While condemning the issuance of notice to former federal minister Baleegh-Ur-Rehman, she said he too is being punished for his loyalty to Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
She said the NAB-Niazi unholy Alliance is obsessed with Nawaz and Shehbaz which is why they are possessed witb the cases and faces of Nawaz and Shehbaz 24/7. This case, she said, is such an obtuse mockery that it does not deserve to be dignified with a response.
The former Information Minister said, “This 1976 case Exposes how every case on Nawaz and Shehbaz before this was as fictitious and laughable as this one. From Saaf Paani, Ashiyaana Scheme, Ganda Naala, 56 Companies, Daily Mail, Multan Metro, Assets beyond Means, Money Laundering to this hilarious case dating back to 1976 are all chapters of the same Playbook of political victimisation, persecution, abuse of power by the government and harassment”.
Marriyum said the NAB-Niazi tag team has come to the forefront to object the provision of rights of poor. This is also proof of the fact that Shehbaz Sharif’s last inquiry answered all questions regarding all previous accusations which is why NAB has had to dig out this new circus, she said.
She said those who defrauded the people of South Punjab with the dream of a separate province have now turned against even any relief in retrospect for these people. She said Laal Suhanra land was awarded to the deserving through due process and institutional framework.
She said Imran’s false allegations of corruption in Multan Metro were rebuked and rejected by China but he still hasn’t learned any lesson and has tasked NAB Multan with the a same agenda again.
Marriyum said notices are being served over a case dating back to 1976 while NAB is mum over the proven case of wheat and sugar theft. BRT, Mallam Jabba, Helicopter, Foreign Funding, Billion Tree Tsunami and robbers of nation’s sugar and wheat have not been served any notice yet, she pointed out.
